A COMPLETELY ORIGINAL ACT FOR WHICH JAMES WON THE SIEGFRIED & ROY GOLDEN LION AWARD AND MANY OTHERS A masked figure in a long cape glides across the stage amongst swirling fog. A flash of fire shoots from his outstretched hand and a sword appears as the mask  vanishes to reveal James Brandon. What follows is fast-paced magic and dance, set to percussive music and involving the manipulation of large birds, light and fire. Even magicians consider this act to be groundbreaking. INNER-SPACE JAMES CLIMBS OUT OF HIS OWN BODY - AN ASTOUNDING ORIGINAL ILLUSION James is strapped into a strait-jacket and then chained to a chair on top of a large table. He tries to unsuccessfully to escape. Suddenly a hand appears out of  his chest, then another, then a head comes through. Finally an entire person steps out of James’ still bound body and mysteriously walks forward. As the lights go down on James' lifeless body the man who stepped out reveals himself, it is James Brandon. SPACE ILLUSIONS THE LUNAR LANDER FOUR WOMEN APPEAR FROM A SINGLE SMALL METAL GLOBE A woman steps into a small metal globe resembling a Lunar Lander. It is then pierced at every angle with flaming torches. Torches removed - the woman steps out unharmed. The audience now believes that the effect is over but another woman pops out from the globe - yet another - then in a spectacular climax, the three women pull the globe apart to reveal a fourth woman.(In shows where  we use exotic cats a cougar or panther appears as the finale). THE MOON ROVER THE STUNNING VANISH OF THE MOON ROVER -ORIGINAL ILLUSION The curtain opens to reveal a huge elevator on a 25 foot truss. An astronaut drives onto the stage in a replica of the car that drove on the moon. The car is  then loaded onto the elevator and as it rises high into the air a troop of beautiful dancers in authentic flight suits do precision choreography. Suddenly the music comes to a crescendo, the elevator falls apart  and the car vanishes in a shower of sparks and confetti. THE LASER CANNON AN EXCITING DOUBLE TRANSPOSITION -ORIGINAL ILLUSION Wearing a silver costume, James rolls a futuristic Laser-Cannon out on stage along with a cage, which is shown empty. James’ beautiful assistant is loaded into cannon.  The cannon is aimed at the empty cage, the cannon fires a blast and is shown to be empty. James uncovers the cage and reveals the girl. Suddenly James vanishes from the stage. A whistle comes from the back of the room and we rediscover him standing on a platform behind the audience. POWER OF THE PYRAMID A WOMAN IS STRETCHED AND MULTIPLIED FIVE TIMES -ORIGINAL ILLUSION A large Pyramid is shown empty. A woman gets inside, closes the doors and sticks her head, hands and legs through 5 holes. James stretches her limbs and twists her head around, (humorous and impossible). James then stands in front of the box with a cloth stretched out between his hands, the girl climbs under the cloth. This action is repeated twice until there are three  figures covered in cloth bouncing around the stage. James then climbs inside the pyramid and closes the doors behind him. One by one the bouncing figures reveal themselves, two girls and somehow James is the third figure. James takes his applause and then gestures to the pyramid as the doors fly open to reveal three more assistants. LIGHTNING AND SHADOWS A SENSUAL SHADOW OF A WOMAN TAKES ON A LIFE OF IT’S OWN In the darkness a bolt of lightning is seen as the sound of thunder cuts through the silence. Neon lights come up to reveal a large box with an industrial  design. The box is opened and turned around to show it’s empty. James casts his shadow onto the front of the box. As the shadow takes on a life of it's own the of the box fly’s open and a mysterious woman steps out. FOURTH DIMENSION A WOMAN IS REPEATEDLY FOLDED AND BECOMES A DIFFERENT WOMAN A woman with black hair steps into a futuristic looking box as it sits on a thin platform. The box is then folded and refolded until it is to small to hold even  a child. Three neon rods pierce the box at different angles and are then removed. The box is unfolded and a different woman with blonde hair and an entirely different outfit steps out of the box. LIGHTS THROUGH BODY A WOMAN APPEARS AND THEN FOUR LIGHT RODS PENETRATE HER BODY James makes a light appear at the tip of his fingers, he then places the light inside of an otherwise empty box. With just a gesture  of James' hand the box falls apart and the light has morphed into an exotically dressed woman. James then takes four long tubular lights and thrusts them through the middle of the woman’s body. For a stunning climax she  opens her mouth and the audience sees a that bright light is illuminating from inside of her. TELEVISION PIECES THE TRIBUTE A TRIBUTE TO A TEACHER BRINGS TEARS AND CHEERS -COMPLETELY ORIGINAL James explains that his favorite teacher, who had also been a clown, has just past on. James draws a clowns face on plastic board. The face changes mysteriously  from black and white into color and the frown on the face becomes a smile. Suddenly James’ face is covered fully in real clown make-up to match the picture. (This is James’ most requested Television piece!) ANIMAL ILLUSIONS THE TIGER’S BRIDE AN EXOTIC AND MYSTERIOUS WOMAN BECOMES A WILD TIGER James Brandon gets into a large empty cage and then a curtain is wrapped around the outside of it A moment later the cage spins around and the fabric is pulled  away to reveal that James has disappeared and three beautiful women appear in his place. The 3 women then point to the back of the audience where James has reappeared in a shower of sparks. (Shows where Mr. Brandon uses exotic cats, a Tiger is the finale’ instead of the 3 women.) THEMED ILLUSIONS CHIROPRACTOR A WOMAN’S BODY IS TWISTED AROUND THREE TIMES LIKE A WET TOWEL A young, evil chiropractor disguised as an elderly, kind chiropractor, manipulates his beautiful patient in a comical and erratic dance. He then places her in a  bizarre machine where her body gets completely twisted around three times until her body looks like a wet towel. THE CALENDAR GIRL A 1940’S STYLE MUSICAL PREDICTION AND THEN APPEARANCE OF A LOVELY PIN-UP GIRL AND A GALLANT SOLDIER -ORIGINAL ILLUSION A giant calendar in a huge Art Deco frame is rolled onto the stage. An audience member chooses one of twelve bathing suits that are hanging on a clothesline. We flip through the calendar to find the month that matches the chosen bathing suit and discover the chosen page is now blank. In a blast of confetti the calendar folds down to reveal a live girl wearing the chosen bathing suit. As our pin-up girl flirts with the man from the audience the calendar collapses and a military policeman appears. The policeman waves his club with mock indignation and ushers the man back to the audience. GANGSTER VS. MARILYN AN ORIGINAL BLACKLIGHT VANISH AND REAPPEARANCE IN COMIC STYLE James is dressed in a trench coat and hat to look like a gangster. A woman dressed as Marilyn Monroe appears at his hotel room door and tries to seduce him. The  gangster comes to her for a kiss. As she stabs him in the back his costume collapses to the floor.  James has disappeared. A whistled is heard from behind the audience, the house lights come up to reveal James in the back of the theater in a different costume. PIRATES TWO TRANSPOSITIONS AND AN EXCITING ROMP IN A PIRATES COVE A pearl necklace is borrowed from an audience member. James breaks the string of pearls and then magically restores the necklace. On the resulting applause a pirate, complete with  hook and patch, grabs the necklace and escapes. James pursues the pirate through the curtain. In the ensuing fight James is locked in a treasure chest. A maiden pulls a sheet up in front of herself to hide from the pirate. When the sheet is pulled away James appears in the place of the now vanished maiden. The pirate locks James into a large wooden frame of four stocks. The pirate then puts on an executioners hood, runs James through with his sword and pulls a curtain around James' lifeless body. The pirate removes his hood to reveal that James has taken his place. The curtain is pulled from the stocks and the maiden is revealed. But where’s the pirate? Finally from across the stage the little door on the locked treasure chest pops open to reveal the pirate’s hook with the pearl necklace dangling from it. The pirate losses the battle and the necklace is returned. COMEDY PARTICIPATION IT’S A SMASHING WATCH A BORROWED WATCH BECOMES THE FUNNIEST MOMENT IN THE SHOW A woman from the audience comes up on stage and loans James her watch. A table with a 3 foot tall plank of wood mounted on it is introduced. The plank has a metal  school bell at the top and an open blender at the bottom. The watch is placed in a bag and hung from a hook 2 feet over the blender. James gets locked into a pair of handcuffs and tells the woman that he will try and escape  from the handcuffs before her watch is lowered into the blender. The woman pulls a lever which starts the watch slowly moving towards the blender. James can’t escape in time and as the woman tries to turn the motor off  and the lever breaks off in her hand. The bell starts to ring loudly and the lights start flashing. James panics and knocks the blender off the table. The audience and the woman breathe a sigh of relief as the watch  gently comes  to rest on the top of the table. Suddenly the heavy metal bell falls 3 feet down onto the watch sending pieces of it flying everywhere. When the laughter subsides James finally escapes from the handcuffs and offers to pay for the watch. James explains that his wallet is in a box that has been hanging in the air above the audience since the beginning of the show. The woman opens the box and inside she finds her watch.
